| Description |
| A-CHILLER TECHNICIAN
(1) He should be graduated from a reputable technical institute and have a large experience In the periodic maintenance and trouble shooting of the air cooled chillers, screw, scroll and reciprocating type and up to 400 TR.
-He should be able to ensure a checklist which lists the required service operations and the times at which they are to be performed.
(2) He should have a good knowledge in the refrigerant system control (i.e. control sequence, interlocking circuits, control relay...) and the refrigeration accessories.
(3) He should be capable of making the necessary testing and refrigerant charging such as leak testing, evacuation....as well as placing system in service including a check up of the refrigerant pressure, controls, interlocks, expansion valve and temperature controllers.
(4) He should carry out periodic maintenance (seasonal shutdown and start up).
(5) He should be able to analyze the trouble, identify the probable cause according to observed symptoms and take the recommended action for repair.
(6) Mechanical skills:
System pumpdown. Parts replacement. Start up after repair
Adding and removing refrigerant
Adding and removing compressor
oil Compressor seal inspection
Compressor overhaul
Clean coil, filters and check fan drive etc....
(7) Can identify the failure of the chillers different electrical components, protection control contacts and switches failures and be able to repair or replace the faulty control.
(8) He should be friendly with the different chillers software.
