| Designation: Asst Manager – Technical Trainer (Java/cSharp/.Net)
Job Purpose: To impart technical training to new joinees and existing employees of Syntel as per the established guidelines and parameters
Position Summary: The jobholder as Faculty – technical training has the primary responsibility of providing the technical skills to new joinees as well as existing employees through imparting training. The incumbent is supposed to impart training in Initial Training Program and Continuing Education Program. While imparting training s/he is supposed to ensure that established guidelines are followed and quality parameters are maintained.
Apart from imparting technical training s/he is also responsible for assisting in lab; ensuring lab is maintained and works on installation of required software required during the trainings. S/he is also required to upgrade his / her technical skills on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
To conduct technical training and to facilitate the practical’s during the training in the lab.
To assess technical skills of participants through various assignments and quizzes as per the established parameters during trainings
To upgrade his / her own technical skills consistently and as per requirement and to share knowledge with colleagues
Other work (courseware upgrade, lab maintenance etc

Volume of data, reports, analysis
Technical skills required:
Java, Object Oriented Programming Concepts, Database Concepts, J2EE, Core Java, XML
