| Description |
| Responsibilities
• To ensure second level resource restoration as per defined SLA/WLAs.
• To delegate the tasks efficiently within the team so as to meet SLAs well within the time limits.
• To ensure second level preventive maintenance is being done regularly
• To coordinate with ELS SDM for ensuring the CSRs raised are resolved on time.
• To participate in internal technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make recommendations wherever possible.
• To predict man-power requirements
• To ensure high motivation level and well being of all their staff in terms of working environment and conditions of employment.
• To provide the BO Manager with reports of domain performance on a scheduled basis.
• To ensure security responsibility is properly understood and followed.
• To ensure security is implemented and maintained in accordance with Security and Risk Management directives.
• To ensure best practice of security is followed and spread within the BO.
• To ensure that significant incidents are reported to the security responsible and to other parties concerned and when appropriate escalated to senior management.
Technical Competence:
Telecommunications knowledge e.g. cellular radio networks (GSM in particular), RF principles, BSS principles, traffic and transmission concept, telecommunications networks, SDH transmission, Microwave and fiber transmission systems, network performance and product functional demands. Understand the inter-working of BSS nodes with BTS, MSC and SGSN products.
